Saugahatchee Animal Hospital Requirements for Grooming
***DOGS***
All dogs must have documentation from a veterinarian that shows your pet is up to date on the following vaccines- Rabies, DA2PP (distemper, parvovirus), Canine Influenza, and Bordetella
All dogs must have documentation that they are on flea and tick prevention prescribed by a veterinarian, if not they will receive a CAPSTAR!!
All dogs must have documentation that they receive heartworm prevention (as this prevents internal parasites such as heartworms, hookworms, tapeworms, whipworms, roundworms, etc.), if they do not receive heartworm prevention, a fecal will be performed and if internal parasites are diagnosed your dog will be dewormed.
We do all these things as a precautionary measure, so we can provide your pets with the safest grooming environment.
***CATS***
All cats must have documentation from a veterinarian that shows your is up to date on the following vaccines- Rabies, FVRCP
All cats must have an up to date on a fecal test (within 12 months), if internal parasites are diagnosed your cat will be dewormed.
